Reports on how the HousAll Shelter System is doing in Haiti are now beginning to flow from Save the Children and it seems that the HousAll Classrooms are being very warmly received. Lee Nelson, Save the Children's Chef du Mission in Haiti, says that the Children and the Communities where the HousAll Classrooms have been installed simply love them and find that they are much better than the old huts, tents and shanties that are, unfortunately, still being used in so many locations. If you have been checking in on this section of our Web Page you will have guessed that technical gremlins raised their ugly heads, and for one reason or another, we lost all of our postings while on our trip to Haiti and then access to this section of our Web Page altogether. Access has now been restored and so, here we are.

Posted: October 20th 2009 - Updated: January 16th 2010  | HousAll Systems Corporation and its team of OCE Award Winning Algonquin Engineering Students were recently selected as the Poster Child Project from all of their 2008/09 post secondary school projects.
The Algonquin Team worked with HousAll to design and develop a 16 foot version of its HousAll Shelter System and the resulting design won the Ottawa Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) Award, beating all other Ottawa Post Secondary Institutions.
